holy crap i really need to work more on the music page ughhhhhhhhhh

even if i SOMEHOW document every single song / album / artist that i like on there, theres still the actual interesting part of me talking about WHY i like all of the music so much. but with approximately 1% of the page's eventual content, it's already a nightmare to navigate and scroll through despite my mega aesthetic buttons at the start leading the viewer to each mega unfinished part of the page. i mean to be fair this describes literally every page on my site so its not really a music problem then

BUT im also thinking about devoting a shrine or two to my favouritest music artists. and if im gonna make shrines to specific music artists then i can move all the talking to their respective pages, but then at that point theres no reason for the music page to exist at all T_T but i have too much of an emotional connection to it to just delete it forever so i guess its staying forever

ALRIGHTTT art fight was so fun i managed to make 4 attacks (which ive also displayed in the gallery) and i recieved TWO WHOLE ATTACKS im so happy im definitely gonna partcipate from now on

why has everything stopped working lately ToT first its the gif favicons (but that's not too bad and they weren't permanent anyway) and now its my femtanyl webring widget, it just straight up disappeared like where did you go come back

oh damn i still need to do my OC refs for Artfight um... well its better to start artfight late than to not start at all am i right

ive always wanted to do artfight but was too scared to ever actually do it and now ive made an account and everything but because of the stupid ANNIVERSARIES i havent been making much OC art. so now im trying to make some lite reference sheets but theyre taking so long (10+ hours for a ref with ONE fullbody and like... 3 headshots what am i doing) so maybe i'll just use the wips for now cuz i REALLY dont want to miss out on artfight again and it seems so fun

i really need to clean up my files damn... i have a folder dedicated to dividers but i still have most of them just in the general images folders

oh no and i have a bunch of digital artworks of mine from like 2023 on ibisPaint on other people's devices so i need to somehow transfer them and get them in the Gallery because thats HISTORY and i hate not documenting significant things

alright and now ive changed the letter / word spacing on here so i (and everyone else) can actually read the words

JUST finished beading a kandi mask and i had to cut it all up cuz there were loads of things wrong with it and i made a new pattern which was way better, but hey at least i wont be using up all of my colours this time

it's Stealing the Diamond's 15th anniversary today!! im gonna ACTUALLY make an artwork to celebrate its like almost done but i probably won't get it done today.. but since its the 15th and thats a multiple of 5 im morally obligated to do it

nevermind about that im gonna try and add some stuff to the Worlds page cuz that's where all the fun stuff will be. but then i'll have to make so much art for it and i've got too much art to do anyway sooo maybe i just won't make too much art for the pages or whatever. okay problem solved

HAPPY 20TH ANNIVERSARY TANKMEN!! wow its old

luckily i got back into it BEFORE the actual anniversary cuz it wouldve been a bit sad if i hadn't, buut yeah this will probably be a long celebration (ive only made ONE artwork for it so far when ive been preparing all June, but i eventually gave up on any other artworks i was gonna make so i could move on to the things i actually want to do)

THE NEW CHARACTERS PAGE IS FINALLY UP!! thank goodness w3schools had a tutorial on how to make javascript tabs cuz i have no idea what i was doing with the old javascript... about the actual characters, first im just gonna write the information for my MAIN ocs and not worry about art or layout becuz i already have enough on my to-do list(s) and it will make things easier

so um its already way past ItA's anniversary and the artwork is nowhere near finished BUT THAT'S OKAY because i'll work on it all weekend and won't get distracted at all

ACTUALLY you know what im just gonna shelve the artwork for next year, i mean its only at the sketch stage and i dont feel like drawing it when im 3 days late soo

i may have to put off updating the Music page so i can focus on the character pages... so then i can recode the Characters page because i don't understand half of the code i put in it and then i need to add the Art Warnings guide and then i need to actually FINISH a couple of (five) artworks. you know what maybe the music page was a mistake i dont think im ever finishing it and once i add the other thousand songs & albums & artists its gonna be a nightmare to scroll through

holy yap so um i had a full entry on the 17th but i forgot to press save and my laptop restarted and i lost the whole thing so that was annoying

listened to Machine Girl for the first time today, was NOT disappointed. i guess now i know why so many people like them. i think i'll save the talking for the music page cuz i really liked what i heard and the songs i especially liked deserve to feature on it

i FINALLY got the Music page presentable enough to go online. there's pretty much nothing on it but i spent way too long resizing and optimising jpegs i'll yap about the actual music later

i just remembered the characters page... i already have it updated and finished (just the layout so it's not really finished) but i have tabs in it using JAVASCRIPT and i hate javascript so i want to switch to pure CSS. i know it isnt really accessible but i need to fix a LOT of accessibility issues on my site and i keep getting distracted sooo maybe just quickly finish the music page then get my updated characters page up and THEN try to make things more accessible.

i'll start with contrast between text and backgrounds, particularly on the art and about pages. i mean i use a blue light filter all the time and sometimes i turn it off to see what my site looks like without it and wow the blue on the about page is bright... maybe its because im not used to it but i might make it softer and less hard on the eyes

Im thinking about changing the theme of the music page. actually i really want to add more to the music page as a whole, i dont think my love for music can be contained much longer

but yeah i was thinking a frutiger aero theme? light blue, clean, glassy, all that stuff. i already have so many ideas i might put off all of my other page wips to work on the new music page now.

im gonna be transparent and say: i use notepad for big changes i wanna make to a page. really only because i dont want people to see my ugly half-finished pages. after i'm done i just copy and paste into neocities or upload the file if it's a brand new page but most of the time i just code directly into the neocities editor because i like the theme i have (i use Chaos)

actually on the topic of half finished pages i'm like halfway done my first shrine. now i just need to prioritise the 500 artworks i need to make for it.. i'm not revealing what it's for yet cuz it's top secret
